# Ideas for future blog posts ## The new treatment Hi there, Those of you following me on social media might know that I was hospitalised again. The hospital stay was originally scheduled to happen later, but since my mental state deteriorated too quickly I was hospitalised earlier and on a different ward. The reason behind all this was a new treatment having been approved last year. All studies yielded very good results even for patients with chronic depression like me, so I wanted to give it a shot. I did not expect a cure, but hoped a little for some long-term relief. In the very least I didn't want to be able to scold myself for a missed opportunity. The treatment itself is a new form medication, a nasal spray containing Esketamine, which I received two times a week during my hospitalisation and still receive once a week, but now as an out-patient. So far I can confirm its overwhelmingly positive effects. I feel more energetic than I have felt in a very long time, probably ever. My regular antidepressants have been reduced -- a fact I was not thrilled about in the beginning -- due to interference with the Esketamine. I still remain on the reduced dosage and feel fine. This is also a huge win. Some little damper I have with this treatment: The day I receive the treatment is usually lost, since I get very tired as a side-effect of the drug, but this is outweighed by the positive changes I have from it. In the coming weeks the drug will be slowly faded out and I will test how long I can go without it. If the need arises in the future I may repeat this treatment. I hope this will not happen too soon. SO far for this bigger update. Keep calm and wash hands ## What is Cyberpunk? ## My new camera - a testimonial ## POSSE
